Thousands Evacuated Due to Flooding in Manila - Philippines

Thousands of people in the National Capital Region of Manila and nearby provinces fled their flooded communities on Saturday after incessant monsoon rains. At least one villager was killed and nearly 15,000 residents of Marikina city were evacuated overnight as rivers rose.

The northern Philippines has been inundated by days of monsoon rains that flooded low-lying villages and set off minor landslides.
