Public Transport Strike in Kosovo

The Road Passenger Transport Association has called a transportation strike beginning today (17 March) due to the government's non-compliance with previous agreements for the subsidy of transport operators. On Friday 19 March, a bus protest will take place with buses from all regions parading in Pristina. Interurban and suburban transportation is affected.

Public transportation is disrupted throughout the country. Although the organizers have stated that Friday's bus protest will be conducted without obstructing traffic or citizens, travellers should be prepared for the possibility of disruption to public transport and have alternative plans.
