Palestinian Territories to be Sealed from 13 April -15 April

Israel's military authorities have stated that Palestinian Territories will be sealed for three days from Tuesday 19:00 local time (16:00 GMT) till Thursday, April 15. The measure will include a complete lockdown of the West Bank and closure of crossing points with the Gaza Strip. Humanitarian and medical cases may be exempted and allowed to go through the Gaza crossings subject to permission from the Israeli authorities.

The lockdown is being enforced to mark Israel's Memorial Day, in remembrance of all military personnel killed during Israeli military operations. Israel will also observe its national day from 14-15 April, commemorating the creation of Israel.

Travellers are advised to be prepared for potential travel and business disruptions in the region, including delays, modified timetables, and last-minute cancellations due to the scheduled lockdown of Palestinian Territories. Follow the advice of local authorities and avoid non-essential travel.
