Pakistan: Protest in Karachi and Quetta on 21 July

The Voice for Baloch Missing Persons, along with the Baloch Students Organisation and families of the missing persons, will stage a protest on 21 July demanding the release of their loved ones allegedly abducted by Pakistani security forces over the years. The protest will take place on the day of Eid, at Karachi Press Club, Karachi from 10:00 till 18:00 (local time). Protestors will also gather at the Quetta Press Club, however, timings for the protest have not been confirmed yet.

Significant traffic disruptions are likely in the area of protests. Travellers are advised to allot for disruptions to travel in the vicinity of the protests. To minimize safety risks, avoid areas of large public gatherings or protests. Even events intended to be peaceful can escalate unexpectedly and quickly and become violent.
