New Caledonia: General Strike on 30 June

The Federation of Civil Servants has called for a general strike of public and private sectors on 30 June against the deterioration in the healthcare system and the deficit in the Unified Health-Maternity Insurance Scheme (RUAMM) managed by the Compensation Fund for Family Benefits (CAFAT).

Some services may not be available on 30 June. In addition to the strike action, protests may occur. Be prepared for possible road travel and traffic flow disruption. Minimize safety risks and inconvenience by avoiding any protest area.
