Mali: Attack on Interim President in Bamako on 20 July

On 20 July, two armed men attempted to attack the interim president with a knife during prayers in the Grand Mosque of Bamako. This attack comes during the Muslim holy holiday of Eid al-Adha. Reports indicate that President Asimi Goita was not injured.
