Kyrgyzstan: Demonstration in Bishkek on 30 June

A demonstration will be held on 30 June at 10:00 (local time) in front of the White House in Bishkek to promote freedom of speech and to denounce the draft law “On Protection from False and Inaccurate Information.” The demonstration will be led by human rights activist Rita Karasartova.

To minimize safety risks, avoid areas of large public gatherings or protests. Even events intended to be peaceful can escalate unexpectedly and quickly and become violent.
