Ghana: Youth Wing of National Democratic Congress (NDC) Protest on 6 July in Accra

The Youth Wing of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) will hold a protest on 6 July 2021 at 08:00 (local time) in the streets of Accra to demand social justice for people allegedly brutalised and killed by various security agencies in the country, as well as for the unemployed in the country. The protestors will start their march from four streets viz. MADINA, Accra Business District, Osu and Lapaz and will meet at the Jubilee House.

Significant travel disruption is likely in the area of protests. To minimize safety risks, avoid areas of large public gatherings or protests. Even events intended to be peaceful can escalate unexpectedly and quickly and become violent.
