Burkina Faso: Opposition Party calls for a Nationwide Strike on 3-4 July

The largest opposition party of Burkina Faso will hold a nationwide silent protest on 3-4 July against the lack of security in the country and the killing of 130 people, including children between 12-14 years of age, in the northeastern village of Solhan on 4 June.

Significant traffic disruption is possible in the areas of protests. To minimize safety risks, avoid areas of large public gatherings or protests. Even events intended to be peaceful can escalate unexpectedly and quickly and become violent.
