Algeria: Customs Workers on Nationwide Strike 19 April

Customs workers in Algeria will continue a nationwide strike for a second day on 19 April against working conditions and other issues. If demands are not met, workers have pledged to strike again every month, while increasing the frequency of work stoppages. Future strikes dates would be as follows: May 16, 17, and 18; June 13, 14, 15, 16; and July 11, 12, 13, 14 and 15.
